Hallam Primary School
Hallam Primary School’s learning and teaching programs support and promote the principles and practice of Australian democracy, including a commitment to elected government, the rule of law, equal rights for all before the law, freedom of religion, freedom of speech and association and the values of openness and tolerance.
Hallam Primary School has a zero tolerance approach to child abuse.
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country throughout Victoria and pay respect to the ongoing living cultures of First Peoples.
I would like to personally welcome you and your family to the Hallam Primary School community, and assure you of the high quality of our staff and learning programs. Hallam Primary School provides an inclusive learning environment that caters to a diverse, multi-cultural school community. The Centre for Independent Studies has advised that, based on the school’s NAPLAN results and ICSEA scores, Hallam Primary School is one of the 18 Australian primary schools identified as being high-performing and low-SES.
Our school values are learning for success, persistence, positive partnerships, mutual respect, trust and environmental awareness. The safety and wellbeing of our students is a priority. Highly-professional and caring staff facilitate a safe, secure and supportive learning environment.
From Prep to Year 6, students are encouraged to develop a ‘growth mindset’, resilience and empathy. Students’ attendance is closely monitored. Hallam Primary School engages students in socially relevant curriculum programs with a strong emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy competencies. Digital learning, including coding and robotics, Science, Physical Education, Arts, Auslan and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program all enrich students’ learning. We hope you’ll enjoy your involvement with Hallam Primary School. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require assistance in relation to your child at school.
