Wellbeing Programs and Partnerships | Hallam PS Wellbeing

There are many exciting and engaging events that are planned each term at Hallam PS.   These activities promote the safety and wellbeing of our students and are important learning opportunities.  We encourage our students to actively participate in our Wellbeing Programs – Life Education, Interrelate, eSmart, Respectful Relationships, Butterfly Body Bright and so many more!

Food At School

At Hallam PS nutritious food and good learning go hand-in-hand!  Our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program also promotes the importance of growing, harvesting and eating fresh fruit and vegetables.

Our Breakfast Club provides a free brekkie for all of our students. Open every day from 8.30am.  Cereal, fruit, toast, baked beans, spaghetti, milo is available from the hall, thanks to FOOD BANK,  members of our school community, COLES and the support of our School Council.

Staff always encourage students to have:

  • nutritious breakfasts: juice, cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit, milk,…
  • nutritious snacks: fruit, dry biscuits, cheese, hummus, pitta bread, celery/carrot sticks, dried fruits,…
  • nutritious lunches: sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, rice, wraps, vegetables,…

Due to allergies, birthday treats are not be brought to school, but are to be left for those very special family and children’s parties at home, thank you.
